Trip FAQ
How does rooming work?
Standard rooming is based on double occupancy meaning two to a room. For families that would like to bring 3 or 4 members, you may all room together. The standard room is either two full beds or 1 king bed at your choice.

All participants will room with family members unless otherwise elected.

What if the trip cannot happen?
MVP is in touch with several outside counsels and authorities to ensure that the event can be run in a fun and safe environment. In the unlikely chance that the event cannot occur and MVP cancels the trip, all participants will receive a full refund.
If an individual decides to withdraw from the trip on their own and the event does occur, then the full non-refundable deposit and any additional cancellation fees will count towards a future trip with MVP.
Is my deposit refundable?
Your deposit is fully refundable if MVP cancels the event. For the timeline of additional cancellation fees, please see the terms and conditions.
How does trip insurance work?

MVP always recommends purchasing trip insurance as soon as you sign up for the trip to ensure maximum coverage. MVP is unable to add legal commentary to particulars of travel insurance policies, however, MVP advises that purchasing trip insurance can help in the event of the following...

  • Injury, illness, or death of family that prevents a participant from attending the trip
  • Illness or injury while on the trip
  • Standard travel related issues such as flight delays, lost baggage, etc.

MVP has a suggested policy through AIG Travel Guard but it is up to the individual to ensure that this or any other policy fits the individuals needs. AIG Travel Guard Link Here.
What if we cannot send an adult with our player?
In the event that an adult family member from your family cannot accompany your child, you will need to have another legal guardian that has responsibility for your child during the MVP event. This would include a legal notarization form. That being said, we will be able to make it work for families in this position.
How does the fundraiser work?

Please see the fundraiser page here! This is a great opportunity. In summary:

  • It is a raffle ticket program
  • Athletes can raise up to their entire trip cost
  • 100% of funds raised go towards their account
  • All prizes such as a Caribbean getaway, Nats tickets on the rail, gift cards, and electronics are provided by MVP.
How does trip insurance work?
They say 'the more you tell, the more you sell' which is true... but only if people actually read what you write. People read text that's punchy, interesting and helps them make a good buying decision.
